Established in 2000, Sumavision Technologies Co., Ltd. has grown up to be a leading digital video broadcasting corporation in the world, providing complete solutions for Digital TV Head-end System and IP-based Solution.

Sumavision has always concentrated on R&D of the most advanced DTV technologies in the world. More than 10% of revenue is invested in R&D each year. All our products are self-developed, with 21 invention patents and more than 50 software copyrights. We offer Digital TV Head-ends, IPTV Hardware Systems, Digital TV Software Systems and Value-added Services. Digital TV Head-ends and IPTV Hardware include MPEG-2/H.264 SD HD Encoders/Decoders, Re-multiplexers, Scramblers, QAM Modulators and E1/E3/DS3 Adapters. Digital TV Head-end Software includes CAS (Conditional Access System) - Stream Guard and EPG (Electronic Program Guide) - Vision Sky. Value-added Services include Mosaic Video Guiding System and Multimedia Messaging System.

Sumavision has covered 34 provincial markets and more than 700 urban/county markets in China in the fields of Broadcasting, Government, Electronic Communication and Military. In 2008, with the largest market share of 35%, Sumavision led the head-end market in China. Also, winning three mega-level projects, Sumavision's share of CA smart card market in China has reached 21%. The overseas sales amount has kept growing at the rate of 280% in the last two years. Our products have been exported to more than 50 countries and regions, including Germany, France, Iceland, Italy, Norway, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Bulgaria and other European countries; the USA, Brazil, Argentina, Saint Lucia, Uruguay, Honduras and other American countries; India, Bangladesh, South Korea, Taiwan area, Hong Kong and other Asian countries and regions; Russia, Ukraine and other CIS countries; Algeria and other Africa counties. So far, the sales amount from European and North America is about one third of our total overseas sales amount.
